EYFS Data Analysis

From the baseline assessment, it was identified that 9 children, which represents 28% of the cohort, were not expected to achieve the Early Learning Goals (ELG). However, by the end of the year:

– 4 children did not meet the ELG, accounting for 12% of the cohort.
– 5 children, despite their baseline assessment indicating they were not on track, managed to achieve the ELG. Which accounts to 15%
– Overall, 29 out of 33 children achieved the ELG, which translates to 88% of the cohort meeting the expected standard.

Summary:
– Initial concern (from baseline): 9 children (28%)
– Did not meet ELG: 4 children (12%)
– Achieved ELG despite initial concern: 5 children (15%)
– Total achieved ELG: 29 children (88%)

12% of the children did not meet the Early Learning Goals (ELGs) primarily due to having Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). These children may face a range of learning, communication, or developmental challenges that can impact their progress in key areas. Despite targeted support, they were unable to meet the ELGS.
