At Poulton St Chad’s, we understand that the death of a loved one can be a deeply painful and life-changing experience — not just for children, but for their families too. Grief affects everyone differently and during such times, we believe no one should feel alone.
As a caring school community, we are here to walk alongside you with compassion, understanding and gentle support. Whether a child needs time to talk, space to reflect, or simply a sense of normality, our staff are here to offer a safe and nurturing environment where they feel heard.
We also extend our care to families, offering a listening ear, practical guidance, and links to further support if needed. In times of sorrow, we believe in standing together — supporting one another with kindness and faith.
If your family is going through a bereavement, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We are here for you.
Emmanuel Church in Fleetwood are running 'The Bereavement Journey' sessions. Please see the flyer and video if you would like to find out more.
