Having names or initials emblazoned on the outside of your child’s clothing is not allowed- this can be a safeguarding risk.
Children in EYFS, Year 1 and Year 2 are asked to have a book bag for school as we do not have enough space for large rucksacks.

Boys and girls are requested to wear sensible black shoes, not trainer shoes or boots.
Pupils should only wear shoes with laces when they can tie their own laces.
Long hair needs to be tied back. Hair ribbons/bobbles/headbands etc should be school colours or neutral (black/brown) and not sparkly or over-sized. Coloured hair braids/beads and hair gel are not allowed. There should be no extreme hair styles, such as dyed hair, fashion cuts, shaved heads or patterns shaved into hair (no cuts below Grade 2).
No make-up or nail varnish should be worn at school. The only jewellery allowed in school is one pair of plain gold/silver studs, if a child has pierced ears, and a watch. Both these items should be removed for PE and swimming by the child themselves. We therefore request that children are taught to remove their own ear studs. It is recommended that children who are going to have their ears pierced, should do so at the beginning of the summer holiday. This will enable adequate healing time before returning to school at the start of the school year.
