“The broad, creative and inspiring curriculum is designed to encourage a love of learning. It is enriched by an impressive range of visits, visitors and extra-curricular activities. “ (SIAMS 2026)

Thank you so much for your interest in visiting our school. We would love to welcome you so you can see for yourselves why our children, staff and families are so happy at St Chad’s. We have lots to share with you and we are especially proud of:
  1. Our Curriculum and Enrichment Offer
We have fantastic staff who bring the curriculum to life. We went on 28 trips last year and offered 27 separate clubs to children! Our Creative Corner is important in offering our EYFS and Key Stage 1 a creative approach to their learning- come and see what it looks like!
  1. Our Values
We have delightful children at St Chad’s who behave incredibly well and really look after each other. We base everything on our Christian values and we have strong links with our church and community. Our motto uses the word ‘love’ several times as this is what we want all our children to feel at school- come and see this in action!
  1. Our Wellbeing Work
Our children are safe, happy and they all feel included at school- this is a priority for us. We have gained a national award for whole school wellbeing. We are the first school in the UK to be awarded a Compassionate Communities award- come and meet our happy children for yourselves!

For children starting primary school (Reception) in September 2027, the national application deadline is 15th January 2027.
